Cybersmart blog

Cybersmart, an initiative of the Australian Communication and Media Authority has developed its own blog.

The about page explains more:

Welcome to the Cybersmart blog, a place to share information, discuss recent cybersafety-related events and explore cybersafety issues. To get the most from this space there are a few things that we would like you to think about first.

The Cybersmart blog is intended to provide a space to share information and viewpoints about cybersafety issues. It is open to all Cybersmart visitors, including children and young people.

Blog posts will be written by ACMA Cybersmart team members, or by other experts in the fields of cybersafety, education or similar fields. Readers are very welcome to comment on any post.

A very useful resource.

How cybersmart are you?

The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) – a government organisation bersda- have developed a number of excellent resources around cybersafety and digital citizenship. This 5 minute video is one of them. They explain:

Your children have never known a world without the internet. Knowing about the risks is important — but so is knowing what to do to help your kids stay safe. This presentation gives you the facts, figures, and helpful advice.
